Major General Parker, USAF, (Ret)
Major General Parker, USAF, (Ret) , is an account executive for Air Force Programs
for CSC. The general's last military assignment was as the commander of the 20th
Air Force (Air Force Space Command), Francis E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming.
Major General Parker was dual-hatted as the ICBM Task Force commander for the U.S.
Strategic Command. He was responsible for the nation's ICBM force, including four
operational missile wings with more than 11,000 assigned personnel. The general
received his commission as a distinguished graduate of the St. Michael College Air
Force Reserve Officer Training Corps program in 1963. He served in various missile
positions, including combat missile crew commander, airborne launch control system
crew member, instructor, nuclear weapons plans officer and commander of two strategic
missile wings. He has also held key Department of Defense positions as senior military
advisor to the U.S. Arms Control and Disarmament Agency; Director, U.S. On-Site
Inspection Agency; and Deputy of Operations, Air Force Space Command. Major General
Parker is thrilled to be a part of this very special non-profit organization.
