Chief Master Sergeant Dwayne F. Hopkins (Retired) is currently the Executive Director for Fisher House Inc. Mr. Dwayne F. Hopkins retired from active duty with 28 years of military service as the Command Chief Master Sergeant to the Commander, 37th Training Wing, Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. He was the primary advisor to the commander on all matters affecting the quality, welfare, morale, management and leadership of 45,000 personnel. As the Executive Director of Fisher House Inc. he is responsible for three homes valued at 2.5 million dollars while providing a home-away-from-home for America’s most valuable resource; our military members and their families. Mr. Hopkins and his outstanding staff provided lodging for over 354 military families saving them $350,000 in lodging cost in 2009.

Mr. Hopkins was born on 29 September 1961, in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and attended Dreher High School in Columbia, South Carolina. He enlisted on 5 September 1979, and has held various positions within aircraft maintenance such as Production Superintendent for F-15, KC-135, HH-60, and C-130 aircraft. Mr. Hopkins is a member of the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee and Aerospace Committee. Mr. Hopkins is also a member of the Board of Advisors for the San Antonio USO and President for the West San Antonio Rotary.
